0056 Sleep Characteristics Predict Metacognitive Functioning Above-and-Beyond Age, Education, and Mood

Abstract Introduction Metacognition, also-known-as subjective cognitive functioning, is an important predictor of decline and previous work has identified age, education, mental health symptoms as predictors. Sleep essential for optimal neurocognitive functioning; such, sleep may also play role in determining estimates metacognition. However, it currently unknown if associated with metacognition above-and-beyond known This study aimed to investigate whether characteristics, including insomnia symptoms, global health, regularity, were metacognitive functioning know predictors mood. Methods Participants (N=3284) included adults (Mage=42.7 years,48.5% female) who completed online investigating across the lifespan. self-reported their age education various questionnaires 6-item PROMIS Cognitive Function questionnaire, Patient Health Questionnaire-4 (PHQ-4), Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), RU-SATED Regularity Questionnaire (SRQ).
